Meet Peter Mark

Call him Peter, call him Mark….he’ll be your buddy either way.
The Story
Peter Mark grew up in Oklahoma (or as he calls it, God’s Country). After graduating from High School he moved in with his youth pastor and got a job at a dry cleaners…and was fired from that job for being late to work too many times. Must have been a God thing because he felt the call to move to Nashville Tennessee. He sat down with his friends and told them about this call and everyone said that he was crazy. But despite the fact that he didn’t know a soul in Nashville, he still felt like he was supposed to move. Within 2 weeks, he had tied up loose ends and kissed Oklahoma goodbye. With one contact name in his pocket, to Nashville he drove.
He called a friends aunt (the only contact that he had, but she had no idea who he was), and she graciously let him into her home.
Through his obedience, his life has changed drastically time and time again over the past 10 years. He began to work at Lifeway Christian Bookstore where he met his wife Allison. She drew him to Clarksville, TN., introduced him to a group of musicians and together they became Desperate Little Children (later renamed Brand New Love Affair). Writing and playing music in and around Nashville was a way for Peter Mark to do the ministry that he wanted and his creative outlet as well.
They soon began to attend Clarksville First Nazarene and worked with the youth through playing worship. After a few years of playing with the band, Peter Mark felt that the call on his life was to take his ministry a little more serious.
Peter Mark and Allison now have a Rock-Star son named Sam and he is the full time youth minister for The Rock House Youth Group…..
The End.
